CREATIVES
Born in London and given a Nigerian name by Jamaican parents, we later emigrated to New York in the late 1980s.
I feel that Jamaica is my cultural roots; London the place where I remember my childhood memories; and New York City the place that offered amazing gritty life adventures. For now, California is my current abode – a beautiful place with an abundance of glorious weather.
My main love is music and as a keyboardist and singer, I enjoy sharing my music with others. As a solo artist, I composed, produced and released my debut album, Final Beginning, on August 20, 2016. The album is a musical journey that fuses electronica, jazzsoul and classical. I lost most of my new and unreleased music in the October 2017 wildfires however, I am happy to be currently completing three new albums that fuses chillhop, jazzfunk, and lush vocals.
My other passion is writing. Unforeseen circumstances in 2011 trig•
Moment of Truth trailer re-examines the murder of Michael Jordan's father
"It's finally time that someone tells the truth."
So says one of the voices in the explosive trailer for Moment of Truth, the upcoming five-part docuseries exploring the untold story of the murder of James Jordan Sr., the father of NBA legend Michael Jordan. EW is exclusively debuting the trailer above.
After being reported missing in the summer of 1993, the elder Jordan was found slain in his home state of North Carolina, and two teenagers, Larry Demery and Daniel Green, were charged and convicted of the brott. The tragedy and fallout for M.J. and his family were shown in last year's buzzy sports docuseries The Last Dance. Michael Jordan would announce his first retirement from basketball only a few months after his father's death.
"This fryst vatten a case that has been shrouded in mystery and urban legend for nearly three decades," Moment of Truth co-director Matthew Pernici

Safe Hands
In Michael Schulman’s account of meeting up with the actor Monica Barbaro, who plays Joan Baez in “A Complete Unknown,” the recent Bob Dylan bio-pic, there is some discussion about the guitar that she uses in the movie, the very same guitar that we, at Lark Street Music, in Teaneck, New Jersey, agreed to rent—it was a 1923, not a 1929, Martin 0-45—when the movie’s props department came knocking (The Talk of the Town, January 13th). We were assured that, when Barbaro was not using the instrument, it would be guarded like a nuclear football. What a shock, then, to read that Edward Norton—who plays Pete Seeger, once the moral conscience of American music—frequently grabbed the guitar from Barbaro on the set, and even intimated that she might just hold on to the Martin after filming, as, he supposedly said, he does with props all the time. We are glad to have the guitar back.
