Jason Lethcoe is a father, an animator, and a big fan of good old fashioned children's stories. Me, I'm thankful he has combined the traits and created a lovely new comic called Zoom's Academy for the Super Gifted.
It's the story of 13 year-old girl named Summer, and it's a tale for children and adults. I discovered the comic when Jason came to do a signing at our local comic book store. I took it home; I read it; I thought to myself, "Now how often do we get anything new and good these days for all ages to read?" Jason was kind enough to take the time to talk to me about Zoom's, so that I could share his story with all of you.
Sequential Tart: How did you get started working in comics?
Jason Lethcoe: I had always been interested in comics. Y'know, since I was little I had been drawing them. I had met Jack Kirby when I was in High School. He lived in the neighborhood and I just looked him up in the phon

Biography
Jason Lethcoe fryst vatten the author and illustrator of several books, including the Zoom's Academy series. Prior to writing and illustrating books, Mr. Lethcoe is also a director, animator, and storyboard artist who has worked for the past 22 years in the Hollywood animation industry for several studios, including Walt Disney Animation Studios and Sony Pictures Animation for which he is currently employed. His work has been included in such features as The Little Mermaid and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. He fryst vatten the recipient of several awards including the Chesley Award for Best Cover Illustration - Paperback Book for his most recent series,The Mysterious Mr. Spines. He does most of his writing on his 30-foot sail boat called The måne and lives in California with his wife and his three kids. There are rumors that he is affiliated with a mysterious samhälle of adventurers called the Brotherhood of Thaumaturgic Cartographers, but he refuses to elaborate on his involvement for
