Mélanie Johanna de Jesus dos Santos (born 5 March 2000) is a French artistic gymnast. She was a member of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2023 World Championships. She is the 2019 European all-around champion, a two time European champion on the floor exercise (2018, 2019), and the 2021 European champion on the balance beam. She is also the 2018 European silver medalist with the French team, the 2019 European silver medalist on the balance beam, and the 2017 European bronze medalist in the all-around. She represented France at the 2020 Summer Olympics where she placed sixth with the team and on the uneven bars and eleventh in the all-around. She is the 2017, 2018, and 2019 French all-around champion, and she won the Longines Prize for Elegance in 2019.

Gymnasts seeking further glory in Melbourne
Seven champions from the Athens Olympics, including triple gold medallist Catalina Ponor of Romania, are seeking further glory at the World Gymnastics Championships starting in Melbourne this week.
They are among more than 300 athletes from 54 countries who will be competing for the all-around and individual apparatus titles at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena when the qualification rounds begin on Tuesday.
Each of the women's apparatus gold medallists from Athens will be in action.
Ponor, who collected the floor, beam and team titles, Frances Emilie Le Pennec, winner on the uneven bars, and Romania's Monica Rosu, who won the vault, are favourites to earn more gold this week.
In the men's draw, four of the six individual champions from Athens are also taking part in the 38th staging of the biennial championships.

Émilie Le Pennec (born 31 December 1987 in La Garenne-Colombes, Hauts-de-Seine) was the first French gymnast to win an individual Olympic medal in women's artistic gymnastics.
Career[]
Coached by Yves Kieffer at Pôle France INSEP in Paris, Le Pennec was the French junior national champion in 2002. At her first senior nationals in 2003, she placed fifth, but won a silver medal on her specialty, the uneven bars. She represented France at the 2002 junior European Championships, where she won a bronze medal in the team event. At the 2003 World Gymnastics Championships, Le Pennec was a member of the tenth-place French team. She also
