Kareem Hunt is a running back for the Cleveland Browns. Hunt hails from nearby Lorain, Ohio, and attended South High School in Willoughby, Ohio. Hunt stayed close to home for college, starring at the University of Toledo. Hunt used his 4.62 40-yard dash spped to run for 4,945 yards, averaged 6.3 yards a rush (that ranked in the 90th-percentile among collegiate running backs), and scored 44 touchdowns. He also hauled in 73 receptions for 555 yards and an additional touchdown.
Kareem Hunt’s talent and production prompted the Kansas City Chiefs to select him in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. A torn ACL to starter Spencer Ware prompted the Chiefs to throw Hunt into the fire. Hunt immediately made the most of his opportunity by running for 1,327 yards and eight touchdowns on 272 carries as a rookie and caught 45 balls for 455 yards and three touchdowns. - The Chiefs traded their third, fourth and seventh round picks to Minnesota in order to acquire Vikings third-round pick which was used to select Hunt with the 22nd pick in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
