Mawra Hussain (Urdu: ماورہ حسین; born 28 September ), known professionally as Mawra Hocane, is a Pakistani actress who primarily works in Urdu television.[1] She made her acting debut in with Khichari Salsa.[4] She made her Bollywood debut with the romantic tragedy, Sanam Teri Kasam () and her Pakistani film debut in with the comedy drama Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2.[5]
Hocane has received praise for her portrayals of Nadia in Ek Tamanna Lahasil Si (), Haya in Aahista Aahista (), Sammi in Sammi (), Anaya Aziz in Sabaat (),and Mehrbano in Qissa Meherbano Ka ().[6] She won Hum Award for Best Actress for her performance in Neem.[7]

Mawra Hocane (originally Mawra Hussain) (Born: 28th September, ) is an Pakistani TV actress. She was born in Karachi and grew up in Islamabad later as her family shifted. From childhood onward she has been a flower child. She did her high school from Bahria College, Islamabad. Later joined the University College of Islamabad for L.L.B and currently she is pursuing it. When she was in 7th grade she changed her family name spelling to Hocane from Hussain, as she wanted it to look cool.
