Invented by Marc Loinaz
The uppfinnare of the one-chip film camera was Marc Loinaz, a Filipino resident of New Jersey who works with Lucent Technologies. He was featured in the July 1999 issue of Discover Magazine.
Marc Loinaz, Director of Design, Physical Layer Products
Dr. Loinaz has over 10 years of mixed-signal integrated circuit design experience. Before co-founding Aeluros, he was a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff in the High-Speed Physical Layer Design group at Agere Systems, building transceivers in SiGe for OC-192 and for OC-768. In his previous position at Bell Labs, Dr. Loinaz led a research team that demonstrated the world’s first single-chip color digital film camera in CMOS. He received the 1998 Best Paper Award from the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, a 1999 Award for Technological Innovation from Discover Magazine, and a 2000 Distinguished Technical personal Award from Bell Labs. Dr. Loinaz received his Ph.D. grad from Stanford University in mix

The camera on our cellular phones is already a technological wonder. Now how about a marble-sized video camera? This camera is so small it can fit into a wristwatch. And it is packed with nifty features and can be used for PC videoconferencing and security cameras.
The inventor of this camera-on-a-chip technology is a Filipino who works at Lucent Technologies’ Bell Labs in the United States. For this invention, Marc Loinaz received in 1999 an award given by the Tenth Annual Discover Magazine Awards for Technological Innovation. His invention edged out the Rio PMP300 MP3 player (a portable player for MO3-encoded digital music) in the personal entertainment category.
Marc joined Bell Labs in 1995 and started working on a one-chip digital video camera in 1996. His team came up with a demonstration unit in 1997 and introduced it to the public in 1998.
The camera-on-a-chip approach is based on the same CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) technology found in today’s

Fashion
[edit]- The barong tagalog (occasionally baro) is an embroidered formal garment of the Philippines. The name literally means "a Tagalog dress." It is lightweight and worn untucked over an undershirt, similar to a coat/dress shirt. It is usually worn by men during weddings, banquets, and other such forma
